Patterns EVERYWHERE!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Rock Stars of the Day

Davonte! We will share your special item tomorrow when you bring it in/

Kaiya shared with us her seal, Slippery - she said she has 6 of them at home! Lucky Slippery went camping and hiking with Kaiya!

Show what you know - Patterns
In kindergarten, we have been working on patterning. Students have used a variety of manipulatives (such as blocks, beads and shapes) to reproduce, extend, and create patterns.

To share our learnng with both the AM and PM completed a "show what you know" pattern challenge today - it will be sent home for you to see tomorrow.

This "show what you know" was an independent task to show off the students understanding of patterns - reproducing, extending and creating.

Can you make a pattern that they can continue - patterns can be made using physical things, colors, actions etc

AM Kinders had both gym and music today - ask you child what they learned in both.

Centers were a big hit today with both the AM and PM kiddos.
We are working on keeping our voices down during center time as sometimes we get too loud.

Pumpkins
We will be doing a variety of pumpkin explorations next week and are SO excited!
If you would like to donate a pumpkin to our class it would be greatly appreciated!
Any size, color, shape or texture is welcome!

Reminders:
  • Scholastic Orders due Oct. 24th
  • October 30th - PM Kinders can dress up for Halloween or can wear their pajamas
  • October 31st - early dismissal at 11:45am for AM Kinders only. AM Kinders may dress up if they want or wear their pajamas.
