Friday!

What a cold Friday!

Unfortunately, with this cold weather we were unable to visit our Kindergarten tree today. However, we were still able to get an inspiration for our winter art by looking out our classroom window!

We started our morning off with free choice of math learning tables followed by a "balloon meditation" by cosmic kids. We found it fitting since today we also learned about letter Bb.

Letter Bb
We learned how to print and say the sound that letter Bb makes. We then brainstormed all things that start with letter Bb before getting to our work - there are A LOT of things that start with B.

Jolly Phonics letter B
Have fun learning Letter B

Winter Tree Art

Using watercolors the students created a winter background for their tress, making sure to leave space at the bottom for the snow.

Next, we used a new "blowing" technique to blow the paint around to create our winter tree. It was SO much fun watching the paint travel across our page with each blow!

Have a wonderful weekend - stay warm!

Reminders:
- Shoe boxes are still needed
- Friday January 17th is PM Kinders and PJ day
