Fall Walk

Happy Friday everyone!!

Felix was our Rockstar today.

Felix shared his army truck today. Felix likes to play with his truck in the dirt outside in his backyard!

This morning we started off with "free choice learning tables" - students can pick one of the tables that they did this week to work at.

After our learning tables we got ready to head out for our fall walk to the park.

During the walk we used our investigative skill to look for  signs off fall and shapes.

After we spent some time at the park we headed out on our leave hunt!

Dante: I saw a triangle on a house and on the slide
Ellis: I saw a circle on the climbing wall
Felix: I saw squares on all the windows
Blaire: I saw lots of leaves
James: I saw pinecones in the dirt by the trees. They felt spikey.
Sophia: I saw leave and pinecones but they were squishy
Jaxon: O saw rectangles under the slide
Owen: I saw a circle close by the red slide
Evan: I found a circle on the swinging monkey bars

We used our collected leaves to create our own UNIQUE leaf person!
After the students finished creating their leaf person they created their name out of wooden letters.
Look at how amazing they are!
They are just as unique as the student that made them! We love them!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
